Thierry Herman visited the LANCAR Group from August 29 till September 4. He presented his work on argumentative cells during the LANCAR Seminar on September 1 and further discussed matters with several members of the group. Together with Jean Wagemans, he worked on the further development of the Argument Detection Procedure (ADEP). The procedure integrates Herman’s insights about the linguistic expression of argumentation with Wagemans’ Argument Type Identification Procedure (ATIP).
